Jut wondering if anyone has ever heard of using fishing wire for classical guitar strings? I have heard of some Brazilian players doing this. The high quality fishing wire ha sbeen used by them with success. It is suppossed to bring out the trebles better. I also think that if you could up the tension a bit by using a string that requires more tension to bring it up to pitch, it could give you more to work with in a classical guitar. any thoughts? |

the way fishermen buy expensive equipment, it may well be better stuff than the classical strings. But I've never heard this before. |

They say it is very consistent and brings out trebles more. It is cheaper too! |
